Typically, this would include organizations that are a year old or less (probably “solo”preneurship) OR making up to $75,000 gross income annually. Our services can range from helping define your ideal client, your business purpose, marketing strategies, financial projections, web design, business processes, product development and more. We can also help manage your startup needs. More often than not, this will take the shape of periodic consultations and/or discrete project management.
Organizations in this stage would usually range from 1-5 years old OR make between $75,000 – $250,000 gross income annually. Typically, much of the business is still run by you (the owner) along with temporary or periodic help from a (virtual) assistant or other subcontractors. The involvement of business manager would depend on the owner’s goals for growth and/or the level of activities or complexity the business requires. We can find any gaps or areas of improvement and not only manage every aspect of the solution (design, finances, people, IT etc.) but also ensure that there are systems and processes for continual improvement and organizational learning. While periodic consultation will still be helpful to you, having discrete project management or ongoing business management will be more beneficial.
At this stage, most organizations would be either 5 years or older OR make over $250,000 gross income annually. You (the owner) may or may not be fully involved in all aspects and may need or have a business manager. At the minimum, there is a designated support team of contractors or staff that has been put in place. We can help organizations that need to “scale-up” (systems, processes, personnel) in order to handle significantly more complexity, people, income, or products. In addition to Growth stage activities, we can help with changing standards, formalizing staff training, creating departments or teams or hiring management, implementing new IT/IS systems or developing reporting routines to track financial and service performance. At this stage, ongoing business and strategic management will be most beneficial to you and your organization, which would include the benefits of ongoing consultation along with management of projects in a strategic, systematic and synergistic way.
